Israeli President Herzog expressed his pleasure at meeting with the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France (CRIF), the Central Council of Cardinals in France, FSJU leaders, and the French Jewish community.
Herzog said he was happy to see the support of the French Jewish community for the Israeli Olympic team, noting: “By helping to raise the Israeli flag on the world stage, you become a source of pride and strength for Jewish communities around the world. In these difficult days, in the face of the threat from Iran and its terrorist armies, as well as the increasing antisemitism worldwide, we all stand together in solidarity and, of course, hope to see our hostages at home very soon”.
